The suit involved allegations the the supplier did not perform the work in a professional manner and that the results obtained were not those expected or that could be obtained with a proper approach. Dan provided testimony for the defendant. The case was settled out of court.

Testimony regarding the design and installation of a waste heat recovery heat exchanger in a waste gas thermal oxidizer at a Mexican facility. The suit involved claims that the exchanger vendor did not provide proper materials of construction to handle radiant heat from the fuel gas burner. The exchanger suffered considerable heat damage and had to be replaced with a new exchanger constructed of a more heat resistant alloy. Dan provided testimony for the defendant. The case was settled out of court.

Testimony regarding the design of a waste gas thermal oxidizer at an Oklahoma facility. This suit addressed corrosion damage to the waste delivery portion of the system, which required substantial repairs and a lengthy plant shutdown. Plaintiff claimed that the equipment supplier should have used more corrosion resistant materials in the affected area, while the supplier claimed that critical operating conditions were not revealed during the design phase of the project. Dan testified for the defendant. The case was settled out of court.
